FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Understanding the KMB Consulting assessment process.

From how an assessment works to what happens once findings have been identified, these are some of the most common questions about working with KMB Consulting.

Our assessments are designed to provide a clear and independent view of how an operation performs in practice. From the initial on-site assessment and risk scoring through to reporting and corrective action, the process is structured to identify areas of risk while providing practical recommendations for improvement. Below, we answer some of the most common questions about our assessments, reporting and what to expect when working with KMB Consulting.

How is the risk score calculated?

Findings are recorded through our tailor-made audit platform, which automatically generates the corresponding risk score as observations are entered. Risk tolerances are defined by the client

How long does it take to receive the report?

Risk scores are generated instantaneously during the assessment. Following the on-site assessment, the final report is delivered within 5 working days.

Can sustainability be assessed alongside an operational audit?

Yes. Sustainability Assessments are a separate service and can be conducted alongside our diving or water-based activity assessments.

Does KMB provide support after an assessment?

Yes. We can provide practical consulting and implementation support to help businesses address findings and strengthen their operations.

How can I arrange an assessment?

Contact our team to discuss your operation and requirements. We will recommend an assessment approach suited to your business.

How are follow up audits done?

Follow-up audits can generally be conducted remotely, depending on the severity of the risk score and the nature of the findings. Where a higher-risk score indicates significant concerns, an in-person site visit may be recommended to verify corrective actions and assess the operation on site.

How often are recertification audits and assessments conducted?

Recertification audits and assessments are generally conducted every two years to ensure continued compliance and maintain the integrity of the certification or assessment.
