Water-based recreational activities can involve very different equipment, environments and levels of guest participation, but they share many of the same operational considerations.

We assess the people and day-to-day practices behind the operation, including staff responsibilities, training, guest briefings, supervision and the delivery of recreational activities.

We review the equipment and operational systems supporting each activity, including preparation, maintenance, storage, vessel operations and relevant operational controls.

03 – SAFETY & PREPAREDNESS

We assess how risks are managed across the operation, including activity-specific procedures, emergency preparedness, first aid, communication and other relevant safety measures.

ASSESSMENTS TAILORED TO YOUR ACTIVITIES

KMB’s assessments are adapted to the individual activities, facilities and operating environment of each business. This may include waterskiing, wakeboarding, kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing, pedal boats and guided snorkelling, as well as boat house operations and other guest water activities.

We look beyond the individual activity to assess how the operation works as a whole. This includes equipment preparation and maintenance, guest briefings, staff practices and responsibilities, supervision, activity management and the procedures that support day-to-day operations.

The assessment is tailored to the activities being offered, allowing us to identify areas of risk, good practice and opportunities for improvement within the context of each individual operation.
